If you are new to Google Cloud and don’t know where to start this blog is for you.

Google Cloud Skills Boost is the platform where you can learn a lot of cloud concepts and can choose the learning path for example if you want to learn AI you can choose the AI learning path, if you want to learn data analytics you can choose Data Analytics learning path and this is very domain focused courses but if you don’t want to go the complex route you can start with basic cloud learning path to get started.
Google Cloud Skills Boost is great but it is a bit theoretical and I like to do hands-on for any service, tool, or product.
If like me you also like to get your hands dirty then I would like to introduce “The Arcade”.
Welcome to Arcade Google Cloud
The Arcade is the platform that offers introductory and more advanced games based on labs (https://go.qwiklabs.com) to help improve your cloud skills.
Every month arcade provides games based on labs and courses on different cloud topics. You can complete these courses and labs to learn Google Cloud and earn points which will help to get the arcade prizes.
How it works
First, you have to subscribe using Email/Gmail to activate Arcade for your account.
Then, join Google Cloud Skills Boost. You don’t need a new account if you’re already registered.
Done. Now, play games to learn skills, earn badges, and get arcade points. I suggest starting at level 1 if you’re new to the cloud!
Enroll in Skill Badges to help you complete game tasks and get more Arcade points.
