Comet is an AI-powered web browser based on Chromium developed by Perplexity AI. It was released for Microsoft Windows and macOS on July 9, 2025 for Perplexity Max subscribers and waitlist invitees.

Free worldwide access began October 1, 2025, opening to all users. Android version released November 20, 2025, adding voice mode and ad-free browsing.

Now it is available to everyone for free.
